Ahh, Adam Lyons!
Guy makes me go "meh!"
His selling point is that his game appears structured enough to appeal to nerds, but "natural" enough to appear normal. He's got the gift of the gab, and is attractive without being a pretty boy.
Subsequently, he's marketable. From what I've seen and read about his "game", it sounds "scientific", and he phrases it in very positive, respectful tones.
With a lot of pick-up artists sounding extremely weird and miscognistic, he's a breath of fresh air.
The likes of Mystery would get laughed off most TV shows, especially here in the UK. They'd view him as a try-hard who dresses like Huggy Bear to boff club skanks...which is true!
I posted this on Barry's board, and this is pretty much how he explains his system.
If you broke down Adam's pretentious algebra
game, it basically goes as follows.
That's it. To be honest, it's nothing but plain common sense, plus a little bit of structure and some guidelines so you know when to ask for a number, or go in for a kiss.
What's terrifying is that, when you look at Adam's game, is how obvious it is. Granted, having someone give you a few pointers on how to make interesting small talk and not act or stand like a sex offender can help...but really, people charge thousands for this stuff?
I just don't believe that 'Social Circle' game really works unless you happen to live a fairly specific lifestyle - Adam comes from a PR background, and ran guest lists for 'top London nightspots' fairly cheesy R'n'B/Pop nights, basically!
It's not really a transferable model.
